How many books did you read this last year? If you remember, earlier in the year I set my goal around 125, figuring since I'd passed it the year before it wouldn't be a problem. I'm glad I didn't add more! I barely finished the 125th book three days before the end of the year. Granted, this number is a bit misleading, because some of the "books" I read were actually sets of multiple books, and they only counted as one. And, some of the books I read haven't been published yet, so they won't count until they release. The privilege of being an author who has author friends. ;) All that to say, I think I read some good ones this year (and some that were eh). For my full list, check here.
If you want to recall about the books in the first half of the year, here's that post. For the second half of the year, I feel like I found authors I liked more than any particular book. Although I thoroughly enjoyed Roseanna M. White's newest, The Nature of a Lady. The sequel to that is on my TBR list for this year. Authors I discovered for the first time and devoured several books all in a row were Pepper Basham (seriously! So many yummy kisses!), Becky Wade, and Erica Vetsch (I'm all about another regency romance author to love). And I once again ended the year devouring tons of Christmas stories. For book club, here's what we finished the year with.
Are you looking forward to any particular reads this year? Did you have any that stood out as amazing from 2021? I'd love to hear about it!

This is a place for me to share thoughts and ideas not just related to writing. Thoughts about what's going on in my life, about an idea I got that I thought shareworthy, or just a funny anecdote.
